From January 2010, IMDG Code training is mandatory for all shore side personnel involved in dangerous goods transport by sea. This means that large numbers of staff in shipping, forwarding, container packing, stevedoring and shipping line offices will need to be trained. IMDG Code e-learning is a computer-based training course that is downloaded from the internet and run with activations purchased online. It allows your customers to train large numbers of staff cost-effectively and with minimum disruption to working time. It complies with the training recommendations in the IMDG Code and provides general awareness and function specific training tailored to the student's job role. Standalone activations for up to 50 courses are purchased via the distributor log-in and quotations are given for larger quantities. Courses can be implemented on the customer's intranet for very economical global training with efficient administration. A course brochure, pricing and purchasing information are also available on the website. Distributors can use the support request for more information on the course and for sales support requests.
