Easy Release slip hook system

To manually release a liferaft, is many times the last possibility to launch a liferaft in a controlled manner, before the vessel is going down. Many of the slip hooks seen on the market today have a lot of disadvantages, such as:

Weak construction that will not withstand lashing load of large modern liferafts.
Very difficult to release under load - many times you need tools to free the slip hook!
In most situations it is impossible to release a conventional slip hook with only one hand. CM Hammar has now developed a patented solution to the problem with the "Easy Release" slip hook system.

The new product has several strong advantages:

Strong construction in stainless steel, that will withstand 15 kN lashing load.
Easy to release even under high lashing load.
Easy to release with only one hand.
Economical priced.

How to use it:
1. Adjust the lashing to suit the wire loop
2. Remove the yellow thimble and insert the Easy Release lever.
3. Pull down the lever so the small holes will be on the back side.
4. Put in the safety pin.
5. In an emergency situation pull the safety pin and release the lever.
