    PECOFacet Ballast Water Filters are based on a proven range of standard PECOFacet water filtration systems used on many land and marine applications. Our Marine ballast water filters offer you an effective and reliable solution for removing larger marine organisms from your ballast water stream.
    Tests performed by NIOZ (Royal Netherlands Institute for Sea Research) show excellent reduction of zooplankton combined with performance on highly elevated natural sediment levels. During the tests at NIOZ the PECOFacet BWF was performing logically on elevated sediment levels. After reaching the maximum limit of sediment and organism concentration (>100 mg/l TSS and >60,000 zooplankton/m³) the filter recovered easily when sediment loading was reduced.
