Quality policy
The Management of J. Garraio is committed to complying with the requirements of ISO9001 and improving the Quality Management System, whose scope is:
“Management and supply of Nautical Charts and Publications in paper and digital format, and UKHO Cartography Services.”
It establishes the following Quality Policy, which encompasses the fundamental vectors of its action:
The satisfaction of nautical charts and publications customers, through the fulfillment of their (customers) requirements and representation of the most important worldwide supplier of this type of products;
The commitment and accountability of employees in carrying out their tasks and in compliance with the requirements of the QMS;
The development of employees' skills necessary for the proper performance of their duties;
The definition of objectives that commit employees to achieving the defined quality parameters, with a view to the development and sustainability of the Company;
Compliance with the requirements demanded by the supplier of cartography and nautical publications;
Control of services provided by other suppliers to obtain the desired level of quality.
Periodically and whenever necessary, with a view to continuous improvement of the service, as well as of the Quality Management System and its respective effectiveness, the Quality Policy will be evaluated and revised so that it remains up-to-date and adequate.
J. Garraio's Quality Policy is communicated within the organization and is available for consultation with interested parties.
